Olympus is a company formed by a multi skilled group of industry professionals coming from OEM, Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive experiences. We have worked extensively on complex high volume design to production parts as well as low volume, or one off build ultra high quality projects. Our mainstream requests are bringing ideas into reality. We fit in where other large tier 1 and tier 2 companies would struggle or be too expensive.
Our team packs 20 years of experience with customers that include:
JLR, Mclaren, Aston Martin, VW, Audi, Continental, GMA, FORD, Alfa Romeo, Alstrom, IBM, Volvo, Bombarier amongst others.
We are experienced in working in tight deadlines, within budget and under rigorous quality controls.

A skilled and experienced team
Every team member relies on a minimum of 20 years of expertise in their specialised field. Working as product designers within multinational corporations has provided us with training and exposure to state-of-the-art design tools and methodologies, along with a familiarity with corporate culture, processes and quality systems.
While we draw on these strengths daily, we leverage our compact structure to circumnavigate the inertia, inefficiencies and many of the constraints that in-house engineering departments are inevitably subject to. We have the kind of agility that is only possible with small, director/owner led organisations because we retain our client as our single focus.
MEET THE TEAM
Elizabeth Muscat Azzopardi
Elizabeth graduated as a mechanical engineer specialising in materials and manufacturing.
She later read for an M.Sc. in the Conservation Technology for Masonry Buildings, a course which she later taught in her capacity as lecturer. Over the past 20 years, Elizabeth has gained experience across a variety of industries including automotive, medical equipment, construction, heritage, science laboratories, and R&D. Her expertise lies in the management and execution of specific tasks using multi-disciplinary methods within a team
Tristan Debono
Tristan Debono has 14 years’ experience leading product design engineering in several industries including automotive, manufacturing, power, construction and renewables.
His range of expertise makes Tristan uniquely placed to lead designs from concept to high volume manufacturing, a pathway that has given him significant exposure through major projects. Tristan has developed driver interfaces for various automotive OEMs, primarily on supercar and luxury vehicles, from design to manufacture. He offers services to industry leaders, focusing primarily on product development, process optimisation, agile manufacturing and applied lean methodologies. Tristan aims to support organisations in developing their own concepts into products and sustaining the service they offer in an efficient manner, increasing profitability and quality.
Ryan Xuereb
Ryan brings 22 years of experience in various fields of engineering to the table.
Throughout his career, Ryan has been responsible across all organisational strata, equipping him with a deep understanding of what drives a successful project or organisation. His keen analytic approach and fine attention to detail have gained the attention of the Chamber of Engineers, who awarded him for engineering ‘Excellence in Leadership’. He is also recipient of the ‘Innovation Award 2012’ by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) for a groundbreaking concept for a Variable Geometry Vertical Axis Wind Turbine. Ryan has also been a key member of science research teams in the field of renewable energy, energy storage and water conservation & regeneration. These involved developing wind and hydro turbines; design, deployment and testing of an Offshore Floating Photovoltaic System; and a Photocatalytic Waste Water Regeneration System. The resulting research papers are routinely cited by the engineering community.
